The 16^th ISSS is organized by the Interdivisional Group of Separation Sciences of the Italian Chemical Society (SCI), under the auspicious of the Central European Group for Separation Science (CEGSS), the European Society for Separation Science (EuSSS), the Division of Analytical Chemistry and the Division of Chemistry for Environment and Cultural Heritage of SCI, and the Italian National Research Council (CNR).

The Symposium has received the patronage of the University of Turin, The University Sapienza of Rome, the Governor of Region Lazio, The City of Rome and the President of Province of Rome.
